Start with what you’ve noticed

What does my Toyota need?

A noise, warning light or change in handling can have more than one cause. An inspection helps determine what needs attention.

You can help by noting when it happens: during braking, at startup, at a certain speed or after the vehicle warms up.

“My Toyota says maintenance is required.”
Check your vehicle’s maintenance schedule and service history. Share the exact message with your advisor so it isn’t confused with a fault warning.
“My brakes are making noise.”
Ask for a brake inspection. Note whether the sound happens while braking and whether the pedal feels different.
“My steering wheel vibrates, or the vehicle pulls.”
Mention uneven tire wear, too. Have the concern assessed before assuming an alignment will fix it.
“My battery seems weak.”
Describe any slow starting or recent need for a boost. A battery inspection is a starting point, not an automatic replacement.
“My check engine light came on.”
Record the warning and any change in performance. Follow your owner’s manual’s instructions and contact the service team about assessment.

Toyota maintenance

Your Toyota. Your schedule.

Toyota Canada’s general service recommendation is every six months or 8,000 kilometres. The work due depends on your specific vehicle and its maintenance schedule; it doesn’t mean every visit includes an oil change.

Your schedule may call for Toyota Service #1, #2 or #3, with different inspections and maintenance items. Check it alongside your service history so you know what’s next.

Toyota-specific knowledge

Toyota knowledge behind your service.

ToyotaTown’s factory-trained technicians bring Toyota-specific knowledge to your visit. Toyota University Trained Technicians learn Toyota systems and service procedures, so your vehicle’s needs can be addressed properly.

Your service advisor connects your concerns with the technician’s findings and helps explain recommended work.

Toyota Genuine Parts

We use Toyota Genuine Parts in our service work. Ask which parts are recommended for your repair and why they’re the right fit.

Hybrid & electric ownership

Electrified Toyotas still need maintenance.

Hybrid electric, plug-in hybrid electric and battery electric Toyota vehicles each have maintenance requirements. Use the schedule for your exact model and powertrain rather than a checklist for a gas-only vehicle.

Toyota Canada provides electrified service guidance backed by Toyota University training. Share your model, year and any concerns with our service team when arranging a visit.

Driving around London

Make seasonal visits count.

When arranging a seasonal tire change, mention any pulling, vibration or uneven wear you’ve noticed - especially if it began after a pothole impact. It’s also a useful time to flag wipers that leave streaks. These details help your service team understand concerns beyond the tire change itself.

Before you book

Toyota service questions, answered.
