The new Prius Plug-In Hybrid showcases a low, wide stance with sleek aerodynamic lines, LED lighting, and bold exterior colours such as Wind Chill Pearl and Supersonic Red. Built on the TNGA - C platform, it is longer, wider, and lower than before, with rear seat battery placement that lowers the centre of gravity for more confident, sporty handling. Available 19 inch alloy wheels on XSE and higher trims add to its sharp, modern presence.
Inside, the 2026 model offers a modern, driver focused cabin designed for daily enjoyment. Soft touch materials, heated front seats, refined black satin chrome accents, and an intuitive centre console create a comfortable and contemporary feel, while available Qi wireless charging adds convenience to the overall driving experience.

This setup delivers confident acceleration with a 0 to 100 km h time of 6.8 seconds, while regenerative braking helps recharge the battery during everyday driving to maximize overall efficiency.
Extended Electric Range and Flexible Charging
An upgraded lithium ion battery mounted under the rear seat increases electric only driving range by more than 50%, offering up to 72 km of EV range for daily trips. Flexible Level 1 and Level 2 charging options make it easy to recharge at home, at work, or at public stations, and a full charge combined with a full tank delivers a total driving range of up to 962 km for longer journeys.
